Pricing

Priced against the cost of one allergy claim.

Per-site subscription, billed monthly, with volume tiers. A single £10k–£100k allergen claim covers years of SafePlate. We've kept pricing simple.

Pilot programme

The first two venues run free.

We're running a small, hand-selected pilot programme through 2026. Two venues get the full SafePlate platform free for the first six months, in exchange for usage data and a public reference.

After the six-month pilot, the venue chooses a paid tier or walks away — no auto-billing, no commitment beyond the pilot. We're looking for operators who take allergen safety seriously and have an EpiPen-carrying regular at least once a service.

Pricing FAQ

The questions operators actually ask.

Is it really billed monthly?

Yes. We bill per site, per month. There's no annual lock-in on Single, Small, or Mid-market tiers. Enterprise customers can opt for an annual contract with a 10% discount.

What does the £250 onboarding fee cover?

Mapping your existing menu into the SafePlate ingredient database, connecting your EPOS (Square OAuth or Access EVO API), pairing your POS and kitchen-display devices, and a 90-minute training session for your floor manager and head chef. We do this once per site.

Do I need new hardware?

No. SafePlate runs on whatever device your existing POS already runs on, and the kitchen display is a web application that runs on any browser-capable screen. If you're already on Square or Access EVO, you're already on the right hardware.

What if I'm on Lightspeed or Toast?

Lightspeed is the next integration we're shipping. Toast follows. If you'd like to be the first venue on either, get in touch — we can prioritise integration work for committed pilot operators.

What does support look like?

Email support on Single. Priority email on Small. Phone + email on Mid-market. Dedicated success manager on Enterprise. We aim to respond within four hours during UK business hours; allergen-incident issues are routed to me directly, regardless of tier.

Can I cancel?

Yes, at any time. Subscriptions cancel at the end of the current month. We'll export your audit data and ingredient library on request.

What about VAT?

All prices listed are exclusive of VAT. UK VAT is added at the standard rate at invoice.
